The speed and
performance of the STATISTICS --> RANKED ROUNDS
page has been improved dramatically.
When
recording FIR's on par 27 courses (no FIR's
can be recorded on any par 3 hole), the FIR %
statistic on the "Round Scorecard page" was
generating an error (dividing by zero). This
has been fixed.
Course
Handicaps are now calculated for Members. Course
Handicaps can be found on the COURSES --> MY
COURSES page, as well as on the printed

other optional statistics), you are taken
immediately to your "ROUNDS --> MY ROUNDS"
page instead of being taken to the round
summary page. Your new round will be displayed
in yellow at the top of the list and can then
be edited, viewed or deleted. This fix

and easy reference. If no phone number appears,
you can enter it by selecting the Edit This
Course" icon ( )
to the right of each course listing.
-
After deleting a course from your "My Courses"
page, a message now confirms what course you
have deleted.
-
Fixed a problem with the "Round Scorecard" page (the page
accessed by clicking any
icon) so that when no "sand save" or "up & down"
attempts are recorded, the total success
percentage for the round displays "--" instead
of an "overflow" error.
-
Corrected the "Holes par or better when hitting
the green in regulation" stat on the "Round
Scorecard" page. The stat now displays the
correct number of attempts.

attempts.

page, the par 3, 4 and 5 performance statistics
for the right side Member were incorrectly
calculated if the left side Member had no rounds
entered. This has been corrected.
-
Added Members' handicap on the "Compare Stats"
page. If "All FR Members" is
selected, the average handicap of the entire
Fairway Review Membership is calculated.
-
When entering or editing a new round, Members
were able to indicate Fairways in Regulation
(FIRs) for
par 3's. The FIR checkbox has been
removed from the Pro Scorecard entry form for all par
3 holes. The goal of a par 3 is to hit the green
(and not the fairway). Members who have
indicated FIRs on par 3's for previous rounds do
not have to correct their FIRs for the round.
Pro Scorecard automatically eliminates FIR's on par
3's, regardless of whether or not an FIR was
recorded in the system.

-
The putts per hole calculation on the

corrected. Members who have been tracking
their putts will see
improvement in their putts per hole, putts per
round, front nine putts and back nine putts
averages if they did not previously record
putts for each and every hole.
Members who choose to record putts will no
longer be able to lock a round that does not
have the number of putts indicated for each

display the correct results for the search
criteria Members were searching for. This has
been fixed.
-
Several Members reported errors accessing
a number of Pro Scorecard pages. Pages included the
"My Stats" page, the "Compare Stats" page, the
"Ranked Handicaps" page and the "Ranked

in their Member user names. This error has
been resolved.

I have deleted rounds from the Pro Scorecard system
that were "unrealistic". Although I believe
that all Members should have the opportunity
to score rounds as they see fit, some rounds
were quite ridiculous in nature and lowered
the quality of the system for all. Everyone's
rakings should improve a modest amount. If
your rounds are missing from the system,
please contact me at
support@proscorecard.com.
-
I adjusted the "Ranked Rounds" pages to
display 300 rankings on one page. This makes
it easier to view more rounds.

The
Teulon course has been updated with par and
yardage changes on the 6th (from a par 5 to a
par 4), as well as the 18th (from a par 4 to a
par 5). Since the net difference of the par
changes are zero, the only difference a few FR
Members might notice are slight changes in
their scoring statistics (i.e. birdie, par and
bogey percentages, par 4 and 5 scoring
averages). Thanks to a few Members for this
update, including
rdavis and
budman.

All rounds entered into FR Pro Scorecard have been
updated to reflect a minor correction to the
calculation for "Adjusted Scores".
Depending on your handicap, FR Pro Scorecard
automatically downward adjusts your hole
scores in order to calculate differentials for
each round you enter. "Adjusted Scores" are
calculated by determining your handicap, then
only allowing a maximum value for each hole
recorded.
For example, if you are a...
0 or plus handicap: maximum 1 over par for
any hole
1 through 18 handicap: maximum 2 over par
for any hole
19 through 32 handicap: maximum 3 over par
for any hole
33 and over handicap: maximum 4 over par
for any hole
Using the information above, if Susan's
handicap was 12, and she scored an 7 on a par
4, FR Pro Scorecard would downward adjust her score
to a 6 to calculate her round differential.
This calculation is done behind the scenes. FR
Members need only enter their true scores for
each hole when entering their rounds. FR
Pro Scorecard adjusts your hole scores only to
calculate your differential and handicap. When
viewing your round scorecard, your real scores
are displayed.
There was a minor correction made to the
system. With this correction, a number of FR
Members may notice a slight change to their
differentials for each round, as well as to
their FR Handicap.
-
The 14th-18th holes at
Pinawa were displaying incorrect par values.
This has been corrected. Final scores recorded
prior to this fix are not affected by the
modification. However, Member statistics may
be affected slightly. Thanks to FR Member
Sleeve for noticing the error on
the Pinawa scorecard.
-
Scorecard pages (after
clicking on any binocular icon) now display
progressive plus/minus statistics for each
round. As you work your way through each hole
on the scorecard the +/- for the hole
indicates how many strokes you are above or
below par at that particular point in the
round.
-
Scorecard pages (after
clicking on any binocular icon) now only
display those optional statistics that were
tracked for each round. This keeps the page a
little easier to read.
-
Scorecard pages (after
clicking on any binocular icon) now display a
checkmark icon for FIR and GIR holes.
-
Scorecard pages (after
clicking on any binocular icon) now display
total FIR/GIR stats and percentages for each
round.
-
Changed the Oakwood 17th
hole from a par 3 to a par 4. This
affected a number of +/- values for Members
who recorded scores for Oakwood, as the par
for the course increased by 1 from 71 to 72.
Thanks to FR Member surffer2 for
this course correction.
-
Modified the Recent Rounds
page to group all rounds entered for each day
-
I have modified the top
Fairway Review Pro Scorecard rounds to display the
top 100 (instead of top 25) ranked rounds.
-
The
Top 100 Rounds page now displays "tied"
rounds. Rounds that are tied for a
certain rank are grouped together under that
particular rank.
-
Members can now easily
locate and identify their own rounds and where
they rank on the
Course Records,
Top 100 and
Recent Rounds lists by finding the yellow
row(s) on each page.
-
When viewing stats and
rounds, Members can now click on a Members
name to view their FR statistics.
-
Added Out and In scores on
the
Top 100 Rounds page.
-
The Front and Back Nine
Putts Per Hole on the "My Stats" page were
calculated incorrectly. These stats are
now accurate.
-
When entering and editing
rounds, Members tracking their drives off the
tee were asked to enter in Drive yardage for
par 3's. Since we don't "drive for show"
on par 3's, there is no longer a place to
enter drive yardage for those holes. Par
3 drive yardages are no longer included in
Members' average drive statistic.
-
FIR and GIR statistics from
unlocked rounds were being displayed on the
"My Stats" page. This has been
corrected.
April, 2002
-
When viewing the "My Stats"
page, the average and long drive statistics
were not being displayed. This has been
corrected.
-
The dates for various
statistics and rounds were too large to be
displayed on a number of statistical pages.
I have replaced the dates with a "calendar"
icon. To view the date of the round,
place your mouse cursor over the icon (don't
click the icon) for a second or two. The
date will appear automatically.
-
The edit round feature was
not displaying additional stats for the round
being edited. This has been corrected.
-
Some unlocked rounds were
appearing as locked in the "My Stats"
page. This has been fixed.
-
When creating a new round,
Members can now specify whether or not they
want to enter additional statistics.
This simplifies the scorecard entry form for
those not wanting to track their drives,
putts, etc.
-
The date the round was
entered was previously being recorded as the
date the round was played. This has been
corrected.
-
Each round now displays the
full date that the round was played, including
the day of the week.
-
Fixed the "Edit this round"
feature. Members can now edit their
rounds by clicking on the pencil and paper
icon beside each listed round. Note that
locked rounds do not have this icon.
